The Seattle city council has unanimously voted to change Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples’ Day. But not everyone thinks the change is a good one

Columbus Day is history in Seattle, Washington.

The city council unanimously voted Monday to change the name of the holiday to “Indigenous People’s Day.”

The debate spilled out, on to Seattle streets, where Native American protesters faced off against Italian-Americans opposed to the change.
